Tasters name 'best chili' during annual 302nd AW cookoff

The 302nd Airlift Wing's annual chili cookoff event took place April 1 at the 39th Aerial Port Squadron on Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Competing in both red and green chili categories,18 submissions were laid out for wing members to sample and to vote on for either a first, second or third place award recognition of "best chili" in their category. Winners in the green chili category: 1st, Master Sgt. David Robbin; 2nd, Senior Master Sgt. Dean Firestein; and 3rd, Mrs. Katie Davidson. For the red chili category: 1st, Master Sgt. Pam Scharfenberg; 2nd, Master Sgt. Richele Beckett; and 3rd, Mr. Russell Dunlap.
