Air Force Reservists assigned to the 302nd Maintenance Group, together with their family and friends, were treated to a group outing July 10 at Security Service Field. The 302nd MXG, assigned to the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing at nearby Peterson Air Force Base, worked with the city's Sky Sox minor league baseball team based at Security Services Field to re-enlist five AF Reservists and one Active Duty Airmen in front of an estimated 3,000-person crowd. Later that evening, Airman 1st Class Tyler Higgins, an Active Duty C-130 guidance and control technician with the 52nd Airlift Squadron, threw out the first pitch against the visiting Reno Aces during the day's second game.
