Col. Christopher Zidek, 302nd Airlift Wing commander, presents the 302nd Operations Group guidon to Col. DeAnna Franks, the new 302 OG commander, during a change of command ceremony, Oct. 16, 2021, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. As the 302 OG commander, Franks is responsible for the operational readiness and effectiveness of the 731st Airlift Squadron, 34th Aeromedical Squadron and 302nd Operations Support Squadron and their tactical airlift and airdrop, Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System and aeromedical evacuation missions.
