Chief Carey retires
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Col. Jennie Johnson presents Chief Master Sgt. David Carey with a Meritorious Service Medal during his retirement ceremony Aug. 6, 2016 here. Carey retired after serving 38 years in the Air Force uniform, spending the majority of his career as an Air Force Reservist with the 302nd Airlift Wing. Carey retired as the flight engineer superintendent with more than 9,500 flight hours in C-130 aircraft. Johnson is the Chief, Total Force Enterprise Division, Headquarters Air Force Air Force Reserve and a former C-130 navigator with the 302nd AW. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col. Alicia Button)
