Lt Col Terry and CAP

Lt. Col. Jason Terry, 52 Airlift Squadron commander, explains the capabilities of a C-130 aircraft April 8, 2014 on the flightline here. The 52 hosted more than 40 Peterson Air Force Base Civil Air Patrol cadets and their advisors for an aircraft tour and mission and Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System briefs. The CAP cadets are generally comprised of teenagers with an interest in aviation, space or the military. “It was amazingly educational and very fun for the cadets and will have a lasting impression,” said cadet Stevie Bohlen, noncommissioned officer in charge of aerospace education. The 52nd AS is the active associate flying squadron in the Air Force Reserve Command’s 302nd Airlift Wing.
