AF Reserve honored during Colorado Rockies game
Senior Airman Miguel Negron, a member of the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Security Forces Squadron, stops for a photo with another honorary pitcher May 25 at Coors Field in Denver. Airman Negron was selected to throw out the first pitch in front of more than 37,000 fans of Denver's Colorado Rockies during their Memorial Day 2009 game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Airman Negron was joined by Staff Sgt. Frances Kness, a vocalist with the AF Reserve Command band, who sang both the National Anthem and God Bless America for the thousands in attendance. Airman Negron and the 302nd SFS are based at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Kallece Quinn)
