Air Force Reserve makes 'splash' at the 2009 EAA AirVenture
An Air Force Reserve C-130 equipped with the Modular Airborne Firefighting System, or 'MAFFS II, presents a live water drop July 27 at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, Wis. The airshow is known as the world's greatest aviation celebration and attracts hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts from all over the world. The C-130, assigned to the 302nd Airlift Wing at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is equipped with the new MAFFS II system and is on display at EAA AirVenture through July 29.
