Colorado Springs students experience AF Reserve aeronautics up close

Maj. Brad James, an Air Force Reserve C-130 pilot assigned to the 731st Airlift Squadron, helps a student buckle into a flight engineer's seat May 18 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The student was one of 11 from the Colorado Springs School that visited the 302nd Airlift Wing where they learned about aeronautics, the C-130 Hercules and the aerial firefighting mission of the wing. The students' visit was part of an eight-day learning excursion on the subject of aeronautics. The 302nd Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve Command unit based in southern Colorado.
