A legendary parking lot
Media from the Colorado Springs, Colo., area capture footage May 19 while a 302nd Airlift Wing-assigned C-130 Hercules sits next to a World War II-era P-47 Thunderbolt (right) at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The aircraft were joined by a B-25 Mitchell bomber, an F-15C Eagle, a Colorado Air National Guard F-16 Fighting Falcon and a Canadian CF-18 Hornet as part of a change of command ceremony for the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command organizations.
