A legendary parking lot
A World War II-era B-25 Mitchell medium bomber, named "In The Mood," stands ready more than 60 years later for a static display aircraft mission May 19 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The bomber was parked next to a 302nd Airlift Wing C-130 Hercules (right) and was joined by a P-47 Thunderbolt, an F-15C Eagle, a Colorado Air National Guard F-16 Fighting Falcon and a Canadian CF-18 Hornet as part of a change of command ceremony for the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command organizations.
