LRS keeps fuel flowing

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Airmen of the 302nd Logistics Readiness Squadron fuel shop get to work Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 with daily check point inspections during the unit training assembly here. They perform daily inspections to ensure the 6,000 gallon, R-11 jet fuel trucks, are operationally and mechanically sound. "We have to keep all our fuel trucks ready and able to immediately respond to aircraft requesting fuel," said Tech. Sgt. Wade Wittrock, 302nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, noncommissioned officer of fuel operations.
