Capt. Daniel Moline became the commander of the Air Force Reserve Command's 302nd Communications Flight during a ceremony Feb. 8, 2014 here. The previous commander, Maj. Damon Brown, is now the deputy commander, 302nd Mission Support Group.

"This flight has continually amazed me with their professionalism, their knowledge, their expertise. I feel like my job is easy because I have such great people working for me," said Moline.

As commander of the 302nd Communications Flight, Moline is responsible for providing reliable and secure communications for the 302nd Airlift Wing, which consists of more than 1,500 personnel, made up of Air Force Reserve Airmen, air reserve technicians, active duty Airmen and civilians.

"Captain Moline has the stamina, he has the speed. He has proven himself with his leadership and management abilities to take on this role as a commander," said Col. Marty Hughes, 302nd Mission Support Group commander and presiding officer for the ceremony.

The flight consists of approximately 35 personnel who provide cyber security, knowledge operations, cyber systems support, radio frequency transmissions and joint incident site command capability.

Before joining the communications flight in 2007, Moline served as executive officer and project manager for the 10th Communications Squadron, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.
