The 302nd Airlift Wing's Key Family Member Program is looking for volunteers to join their organization. The Key Family Member Program is recognized as an up-and-coming Air Force Reserve wide program that is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the families and friends of Reservists who have been activated or deployed and is sponsored by the Airman and Family Readiness Center.

The KFMP volunteer assists the Commanders, First Sergeants, unit staff, and the families establish better communication and connections throughout the year. The program starts building a network of relationships prior to deployments, TDY's, and UTAs through activities and programs. Volunteers of the program represent their Reservist's unit and provide information, communication and resources to those at home. The KFM volunteer can be in any state or community, thus giving the volunteer flexibility in a way she or he can help and not just live in or around Colorado Springs. The volunteers are given training by the AFRC staff on the "what to say" and "what not to say", and other resources that are available.

Members of the 302nd Airlift Wing KFMP and Family HEARTS will be hosting a Bunco night June 6 for anyone who is interested in getting together, meeting new friends and learning about the KFMP and Family HEARTS programs.

Anyone interested in participating in Bunco night is asked to RSVP no later than June 4. Call: (719) 556-6505 and leave a message or email: Marie Law marie.law@peterson.af.mil, or Christina Fornander christina.fornander@peterson.af.mil.
