Colorado AF Reservists contribute to 'Joint Enterprise'

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Members of the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing departed Oct. 26 for Ramstein Air Base, Germany, in support of Operation Joint Enterprise. The operation, which includes elements of both the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, supplements critical airlift missions performed by the Active Duty Air Force as they transition to the Air Force's newest C-130 Hercules: the C-130 "J" model. The conversion to the new tactical airlift aircraft model is slated for completion in late spring of 2010.
