22nd AF commander visits 302nd Airlift Wing, learns about varied missions, TFI

Maj. Gen. James T. Rubeor, 22nd Air Force commander, visited the 302nd Airlift Wing during its June Unit Training Assembly weekend June 4-6 here to get a first-hand look at the many missions the wing supports. Areas of the wing the general toured include the base's installation control center, the Airman and Family Readiness office, the 302nd Services Flight's single palletized expeditionary kitchen, the wing's Total Force Integration with an Active Duty C-130 unit and the 302nd Maintenance Group. The general was also briefed on the 302nd AW's Modular Airborne Fighting System mission and was given a live demonstration firing of the "MAFFS II" unit. The 302nd AW is a subordinate unit to 22nd AF.
