The Air Force Reserve Command's 302nd Airlift Wing, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., hosted members of Boy Scout Troop 12 for an afternoon tour of one of its C-130 aircraft on Oct. 14. The scouts from nearby Pueblo County had the opportunity to explore the mighty 'Herc' inside and out, from front to back. The scouts bombarded aircrew with questions from specific gauges, cargo capabilities and real life missions. "This is a great opportunity for the scouts to see firsthand what you guys do," said Todd Jones, Troop 12 scout master. "We have one scout that wants to be an Air Force pilot," he added.
