If you're in the mood for a worry-free game of golf or would like to increase your odds of getting a hole-in-one, maybe Mini Golf is for you. Mini Golf, a new, nine-hole putt-putt golf course, is open for play in Peak View Park, located across from The Exchange.

A ceremonial grand opening was held July 3 at the course. The course is open to Department of Defense ID cardholders and their family members of all ages.

Golf clubs, balls, score sheets and pencils are available at the Peak View Park management office at Peak View Park, which is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon-6 p.m. Saturday from April 1 to Sept. 1. The office is closed Sundays, family days and federal holidays. If you want to play before or after those hours any day of the year, you must bring your own putter and golf balls. Reservations are not required.

For refreshments after mini-golfing, soda and snack vending machines are available in the management office. No pets, food or beverages are permitted on the course.

Peak View Park is open from dawn to dusk. For information about Peak View Park or Eagle Park, visit www.21fss.com and click on the Fitness Center's Facilities & Parks page, or call the Peak View Park manager at 556-2767.
