PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- As the Sun and temperatures dropped, more than 300 friends and family members of deployed Reserve Citizen Airmen stood on the flight line here waiting to welcome them home, Jan. 18.
Approximately150 302nd Airlift Wing reservists returned after a 4-month deployment supporting U.S. Central Command operations throughout Southwest Asia. While deployed, the reservists provided C-130 Hercules aircraft support for operations in need of passenger airlift, aerial delivery and aeromedical evacuation missions.
