ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Air Force Reserve Command has selected its nominees for the 2018 Air Force Public Affairs Awards for Communication Excellence (PACE).
The PACE program recognizes the Air Force's top performers and programs, highlights the mission impact of Public Affairs professionals, and encourages benchmarking of the Air Force's most effective and innovative communication practices.
The following AFRC winners will go forward to represent the command in the Air Force-level Public Affairs competition:
The Maj. Henry H. “Hap” Arnold Award for Public Affairs Communication Effectiveness -- 315th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.
The Best Innovation Award -- 315th AW, JB Charleston.
The Brig. Gen. Harry J. Dalton Jr. Award -- 302nd AW, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
The Outstanding Communication Airman (E-1 - E-4) Award -- Senior Airman Brandon Kalloo, 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick AFB, Florida.
The Staff Sgt. Christopher S. Frost Outstanding Communication Noncommissioned Officer (E-5 - E-6) Award -- Tech. Sgt Thomas Grimes, 4th Combat Camera Squadron, JB Charleston.
The Capt. Bradley R. Schuldt Outstanding Communication Company Grade Officer (O-1– O-3) Award -- 2nd Lt. Callie E. McNary, 507th Air Refueling Wing, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
The Outstanding Communication Field Grade Officer (O-4 - O-5) Award -- Maj. Wayne Capps, 315th AW, JB Charleston.
The Outstanding Communication Civilian Category I (GS-5 - GS-9 or equivalent) Award -- William C. Pope, 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts.
The Outstanding Communication Civilian Category II (GS-10 - GS-12 or equivalent) Award -- Lauren C. Gleason, 507th ARW, Tinker AFB.
The Best Crisis Communication Award -- 4th CTCS, JB Charleston, SC.
The Best of the Best Award -- Maj. Wayne Capps, 315th AW, JB Charleston.
