Master Sgt. Freeman with Maj. Cherdron
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Master Sgt. Thomas Freeman gives Maj. Thomas Cherdron, German Air Force (Luftwaffe), an first-hand look at a U.S. Forest Service Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System June 18, 2015. Cherdron visited the Air Force Reserve Command’s 302nd Airlift Wing here and the 310th Space Wing at Schriever AFB, Colo. as part of the German and U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Officers Exchange program. Approximately 25 German Reserve Officers, from all service branches, come to the U.S. every year to spend two weeks with their U.S. Armed Forces counterparts. The U.S. sends about the same amount of Reservists to Germany each year. Freeman is a C-130 loadmaster with the 731st Airlift Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Daniel Butterfield)
