PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. Lt. Col. Luke Thompson, chief of aerial firefighting for the 302nd Airlift Wing, shows members of the Defense Orientation Conference Association a Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System during their tour of the Reserve wing Oct. 30, 2014 here. The group was also given a static tour of a C-130, a mission brief and an Aeromedical Evacuation demonstration. DOCA was founded by participants from the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference. Their goal, according to their official website, is to “provide a means of continuing the education of its members in matters pertaining to national security with the cooperation of the Departments of Defense and State.” DOCA is a non-political, non-partisan and non-profit association.
