Congressional staffers visit Peterson

Lt. Col. Edward Strickland speaks with Military Legislate Liaisons and American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research representatives Aug. 14 on the Peterson flightline. The group stopped by the Air Force Reserve Command’s 302nd Airlift Wing, as part of their regional tour, to learn more about the Reserve Wing’s mission to include Modular Airborne Fire Fighting. They also had a first-hand look of a C-130 with a MAFFS unit installed. The group visited Fort Carson, the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Northern command and space operation units.
