Security forces redeployment
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -Tech. Sgt. Scott Joiner, 302nd Security Forces Squadron, is greeted by his daughter Xadie and wife Carmen upon his redeployment May 3, 2014. Joiner returned to Colorado Springs with nearly 30 security forces members from the Air Force Reserve Command’s 302nd Airlift Wing, located here, and the 310th Space Wing, located at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo. The Airmen were deployed to the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyz Republic since Jan. 15. While deployed, the Airmen provided for the location's integrated base defense systems. They also provided for the Center's physical security as well as its antiterrorism and force protection measures. Joiner is a fire team leader for the security forces squadron.
