Final daily flight flown at McClellan
First Lt. Joe Sepko, 302nd Air Expeditionary Group C-130 pilot (center), exits his aircraft June 27 after completing one of the final missions at McClellan Airfield in Sacramento, Calif. Aircrews here were successful in launching eight missions July 27, dropping an approximate total of 240,000 pounds of fire retardant on fires in and around the Whiskeytown and Mount Shasta areas almost 200 miles north of Sacramento. The 302nd AEG is made up of two Air National Guard units, including the 153rd AW from Cheyenne, Wyo., and the 145th AW based out of Charlotte, N.C. One Air Force Reserve unit, the 302nd AW from Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the only Air Force Reserve unit in the 302nd AEG. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Stephen Collier)
