Denver Broncos honor reservists
Over two dozen men and women raised their right hand and answered their nation’s call, pledging to serve their country by becoming the 302nd Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve’s newest warriors at Invesco Field, home of the Denver Broncos, just moments before their kick-off on Oct 12, 2008. Traditional Reservist and Wing Vice Commander, Col. Bob Chapman read the oath of enlistment as thousands of fans rose to witness and honor this most special and important occasion. The stadium remained silent as the oath was read, but then erupted with enormous cheers and applause as the colonel congratulated the new airmen. (Air Force Photo by Maj. Kallance Quinn)
