Sixteen fires, three wings, one team
Modular Airborne Firefighting System units from around the country converged at the Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in Port Hueneme, Calif., to help fight the wild fires burning over parts of Southern California. Participating units include The 302nd Airlift Wing from Colorado Springs, Colo. The 145th Airlift Wing from Charlotte, N.C., and The 153rd Airlift Wing from Cheyenne, Wyo.
