Girl Scouts descend on Colorado AF Reservists
Manny Ortega, a C-130 aircraft crew chief assigned to the 302nd Maintenance Group, explains how cargo is delivered from the back of the aircraft in flight Dec. 21 to girls of Girl Scout Troop 225 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The girls, from Woodland Park, Colo., visited the 302nd Airlift Wing where they learned about flying, the C-130 Hercules and the aerial firefighting mission of the wing. The visit allowed the girls to further earn their aeronautical badge. The 302nd Airlift Wing is located in southern Colorado. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Stephen J. Collier)
