The 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron staff members met Jan. 13 with the commander, Col. Julio Lopez after an alert was issued in preparation for a humanitarian airlift response for the earthquake victims in Haiti. The 35th is the command and control squadron for the Coronet Oak mission which provides the United States Southern Command with logistic and contingency support throughout Central and South America.
