MAFFS Training in Thailand Kicks Off

Special Group Captain (Brig. Gen. equivalent) Thawonwat Chantanagama, deputy director, Directorate of Operations, Royal Thai Air Force, is flanked by a photograph of the Thai King as he addresses a formation of combined RTAF and U.S. Air Force members in Don Muang Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand during the opening ceremony for Modular Airborne Firefighting System training. Seven members of the Air Force Reserve’s 302nd Airlift Wing are in Thailand providing expert training to RTAF members on safe and effective MAFFS operations.
