Checking wing stress levels
Senior Master Sgt. Kenneth E. Kunkle, flight engineer, and Lt. Col. James M. Steward, chief of flying safety, both with the 302nd Airlift Wing based at Peterson AFB, Colo., assist a Royal Thai Air Force counterpart in checking the wing stress levels in the C-130 flight manual. Seven members of the 302 AW traveled to Thailand to provide expert training to RTAF members on safe and effective Modular Airborne Firefighting System operations. This event marks the first time the Air Force Reserve has sent delegates to train a foreign Air Force on use of the MAFFS equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jody L. Ritchie)
