Loading MAFFS - Thai style
Master Sgt. Tom T. Freeman, loadmaster with the Air Force Reserve’s 302nd Airlift Wing based at Peterson AFB, Colo., help Royal Thai Air Force members load the Modular Airborne Firefighting System at Don Muang Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand. The MAFFS system was transported from Don Muang RTAFB to Phitsanulok RTAFB for MAFFS flying training. Seven members of the 302 AW traveled to Thailand to provide expert training to RTAF members on safe and effective Modular Airborne Firefighting System operations. This event marks the first time the Air Force Reserve has sent delegates to train a foreign Air Force on use of the MAFFS equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jody L. Ritchie)
