MAFFS wet drop in Thailand
Water is released from a Royal Thai Air Force C-130 equipped with the Modular Airborne Firefighting System over north central Thailand during MAFFS training. Members of the RTAF are certifying their proficiency on the MAFFS missions with assistance from the Air Force Reserve’s 302nd Airlift Wing based at Peterson AFB, Colo. Seven 302 AW members traveled to Thailand to provide expert training on safe and effective C-130 MAFFS operations. This event marks the first time the Air Force Reserve has sent delegates to train a foreign Air Force on use of the MAFFS equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Jody L. Ritchie)
