Staff Sgt. Abdul Ganeu Abdulai, a C-130 Hercules crew chief, watches a pressure meter while filling a Modular Airborne Firefighting System with pressurized water April 28 during the 2010 MAFFS certification training in Greenville, S.C. Maintenance and ground crews keep a watchful eye on the MAFFS tank's pressurization to ensure aircrews have the precise amount of water ready to fire during mock drops nearby. The annually-held certification brought together more than 400 Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Airmen and their unit's C-130s to receive certification from the U.S. Forest Service in aerial firefighting. The certification runs April 25-May 1. Sergeant Abdulai is assigned to the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Daniel Butterfield)
