The student was one of 11 from the Colorado Springs School that visited the 302nd Airlift Wing where they learned about aeronautics, the C-130 Hercules and the aerial firefighting mission of the wing. The students' visit was part of an eight-day learning excursion on the subject of aeronautics. The 302nd Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve Command unit based in southern Colorado.
