302nd Airlift Wing Photos

A legendary parking lot

A 302nd Airlift Wing-assigned C-130 gleams in the Colorado morning sun May 19 with two, World War II-era aircraft, including the P-47 Thunderbolt fighter plane (center) and a B-25 Mitchell bomber (right) at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The aircraft were joined by an F-15C Eagle, a Colorado Air National Guard F-16 Fighting Falcon and a Canadian CF-18 Hornet as part of a change of command ceremony for the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command organizations. The 302nd Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve Command-assigned unit. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Stephen J. Collier)
