Girls of the West see AF Reserve up close, experience re-enlistment ceremony
Master Sgt. Miltiadis "Drak" Drakopoulos explains to Girls of the West ladies Jessica Greene (left) and Dayna Jenkins what it's like to be a loadmaster on a C-130 Hercules aircraft July 1 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Both Miss Greene, the Girl of the West, and her aide, Miss Jenkins, received an up-close look at the 302nd Airlift Wing's primary mission of tactical airlift and airdrop and experienced a re-enlistment ceremony for an enlisted member. Sergeant Drakopoulos is a C-130 loadmaster assigned to the 731st Airlift Squadron. The 302nd AW is an AF Reserve-assigned unit also charged with mission of aerial firefighting using the Modular Airborne Firefighting System.
