AF Reservists enjoy evening out with Colorado Springs-based 'Sky Sox'
Col. James Van Housen (foreground) re-enlists five Air Force Reservists assigned to the 302nd Maintenance Group and one Active Duty Airman from the 52nd Airlift Squadron July 10 at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs, Colo. The 302nd MXG, assigned to the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing at nearby Peterson Air Force Base, worked with the city's Sky Sox minor league baseball team to re-enlist the six Airmen in front of an estimated 3,000-person crowd. Later that evening, Airman 1st Class Tyler Higgins from the 52nd AS threw out the first pitch against the visiting Reno Aces during the night's doubleheader.
