AF Reserve C-130, aerial firefighting mission awe Illinois Boy Scouts
1st Lt. Eric Liscar, an Active Duty C-130 Hercules pilot, highlights different aircraft controls to members of Boy Scout Troop 65 Aug. 4 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The River Forest, Ill.-based scout group visited the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing during their stay in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Boy Scouts were also briefed on the wing's aerial firefighting mission as the 302nd AW is the only AF Reserve organization tasked with supporting the Modular Airborne Firefighting System.
