302nd Operations Group sees change during August training weekend

Lt. Col. Steven Foss (right) salutes Col. Kurt D. Jones while assuming command of the 731st Airlift Squadron Aug. 8 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Colonel Foss, an Air Force Reserve C-130 navigator, took command of squadron from outgoing commander, Col. Courtney Arnold. As commander of the airlift squadron, Colonel Foss is responsible for the dozens of aircrews who fly 12, C-130H3 Hercules tactical aircraft, which are assigned to the 302nd Airlift Wing.
