302nd Operations Group sees change during August training weekend
Col. Kurt D. Jones (right) watches as the 302nd Operations Support Squadron guidon is unveiled for the first time Aug. 8 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. The 302nd OSS, which was earlier inactivated as an operations support flight, was re-activated as a squadron to better reflect its growing mission. After the unit standup, Air Force Reservist Lt. Col. Jennie Johnson assumed command of the squadron. Colonel Jones, an Air Reserve Technician, is the commander of the 302nd Operations Group, a parent organization to the 302nd OSS.
