302nd Operations Group sees change during August training weekend

Lt. Col. Steven Foss receives his wife's assistance in pinning on his squadron commander badge Aug. 8 after he assumed command of the 731st Airlift Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Colonel Foss, an Air Force Reserve C-130 navigator, took command of the squadron from outgoing commander, Col. Courtney Arnold. As commander of the airlift squadron, Colonel Foss is responsible for the readiness of the dozens of aircrews who fly 12, C-130H3 Hercules tactical aircraft, which are assigned to the 302nd Airlift Wing.
