302nd AW crew chiefs get 'dedicated' to Hercs
Lt. Col. Carlos Ortiz, 52nd Airlift Squadron commander, shares the importance of dedicated crew chiefs to the mission of tactical airlift Aug. 8 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Colonel Ortiz, together with 302nd Maintenance Group leadership, were on hand to name 24 Air Force Reserve and Active Duty C-130 Hercules maintainers as "dedicated crew chiefs" to their respective aircraft. Dedicated crew chiefs provide additional continuity and streamline processes for maintaining the Air Force's fleet of C-130 aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jenni Deylius)
