Air Force C-130s deliver fire retardant support to Walker County fire
Air National Guard Airmen deployed from the North Carolina Air National Guard work to refill a Modular Airborne Firefighting System-equipped C-130 Hercules Sept. 13 Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas while another aircraft prepares to taxi for takeoff to a fire. Assigned to the 302nd Air Expeditionary Group, the Airmen worked to launch aerial firefighting aircraft in support of a 1,400-acre fire 25 miles east of College Station, Texas.
