Maintenance Group ‘double hitter’ assumptions of command affect AMXS, MOF

James Van Housen, presided over two assumptions of command ceremonies for the 302nd MXG, including one for the 302nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron’s incoming commander, Maj. John Drain. Drain, a former enlisted avionics technician, has served in a number of officer billets, including F-22 maintenance at Tyndall AFB, Fla., and the commander of the AF Reserve’s 934th MOF in Minneapolis, Minn. Allen, also a prior enlisted Airman in security forces, takes on the leadership role of the 302nd MOF after serving within the 302nd Airlift Wing since March 2009.
