MISSION SUCCESS: Capt. Matthew Fenton, a 302nd Airlift Wing C-130 Hercules aircraft pilot, is a Reserve Citizen Airman who recently led a team of 64 reservists to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, for their annual tour training. "Captain Fenton was in upgrade training to become a formation lead pilot and mission commander," said Lt. Col. Bradley Ross, the 731st Airlift Squadron operations commander. "We like to involve off-station training in that upgrade, but it is normally far less involved. Fenton took on the lion's share of the workload on this adventure and coordinated everything from airspace and formation airdrop planning to logistics and transportation."
