Master Sgt. Carlos Silva, a 39th Aerial Port Squadron air transportation specialist and passenger service team chief, is a Reserve Citizen Airman who makes it his mission to ensure his fellow 302nd Airlift Wing members using the airlift have the reporting information needed for travel to the monthly Unit Training Assemblies. Each month, before the UTA, Silva goes out of his way to contact each reservist who is planning to use the airlift. “My job is to manifest the passengers,” said Silva. “I’ve made it my personal mission to ensure reservists that are supposed to be on the airlift--get there.”
