Col. Pittman retirement
Col. Erich C. Novak, left, salutes Col. Jack H. Pittman, Jr. after presenting him with the Legion of Merit award. Pittman was honored during his retirement ceremony March 6, 2016 capping a 33-year career with the Air Force Reserve. The 302nd Airlift Wing commander was rated a command pilot with more than 6,000 total flying hours in six different airframes. Novak is the 302nd AW vice commander.
