Puerto Rico maintenance workaround
Senior Airman Richard Amador, a C-130 Hercules sheet metal technicians assigned to the Puerto Rico Air National Guard's 156th Airlift Wing, drills out a rivet Jan. 24 while troubleshooting an engine cover issue at Muniz Air Base, Puerto Rico. Both Airman Amador and his co-worker Staff Sgt. Victor Flores toiled over the issue several times until the Minnesota ANG aircraft's engine air intake cover was securely fastened back to the aircraft. The aircraft is from one of two airlift wings deployed to Muniz Air Base in support of Air Expeditionary Force Coronet Oak, operated by the 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron.
